Learning Outcomes :

Upon successful completion of this course, students are expected to be able to develop and implement a risk-based IS audit strategy for the organization in compliance with IS audit standards, guidelines and best practices ; plan specific audits to ensure that IT and business systems are protected and controlled ; conduct audits in accordance with IS audit standards, guidelines and best practices to meet planned audit objectives ; conduct audits using various Computer-Assisted Audit Techniques that varies from generalized audit software to expert system; make a recommendation on the implementation of risk management and control practices within the organization.

This course concludes the study of IS Auditing and consists of comprehensive subject areas of IS Auditing. It also provides information system audit services in accordance with IS audit standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure that an organization’s information technology and business systems are protected and controlled.
