IT SERVICE DELIVERY (4 SCU)
Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of the course, students are expected to be able to: describe IT service management concepts, standards, and frameworks; analyze the implementation of IT service management; design and develop an IT service management implementation plan for an organization; and describe the IT service management process based on leading standards and frameworks.
Topics:
This course explores various IT service management practices, which are important to provide assurances to users as well as management that the expected level of service will be delivered. Students will gain an understanding on how to provide assurances that IT service management practices will ensure the delivery of the level of services required to meet the organization’s objectives. Topics covered include general IS operations as well as IS network infrastructures and technologies.
