Learning Outcomes
Describe the main principles of data communications and networking in wide range of applications; Discuss various types of (wireless) LAN/WAN architectures in public, private and hybrid environment; Explain the TCP/IP architecture and its functions to provide internetworking; Analyse IT infrastructure architecture, maintenance, security and compliance in supporting the dynamical organizational needs.
Topics
This course provides the design, implementation, and management of information technology infrastructure solutions to serve organizational needs in fast changing business environment. Topics include data communication fundamentals, computer networking, wireless communication, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP addressing and subnetting, security, virtualization, distributed and cloud computing, and integrated IT infrastructure architecture development.
