Topics

This course is an essential guide to understanding and use data analytics. It explains how to visualize and summarize data, and how to find natural groups and frequent patterns in a dataset. The course also explores predictive tasks, be them classification or regression. Finally, the course discusses popular data analytic applications, like mining the web, information retrieval, social network analysis, working with text, and recommender systems. it is not expected that you will feel like a data scientist with ability to create new methods, but it is expected that you might feel like a data analytics practitioner, able to drive a data analytics project, using the right methods to solve real problems.
