MATHEMATICAL STATISTICS I (4 Credits)
Learning Outcomes:
On successful completion of this course, student will be able to: LO1 – Calculate the probability of events from given problems; LO2 – Apply the concept of discrete and continuous random variables and their probabilities, the interval between events of Poisson probability and Central Limit Theorem from Normal and Gamma Distribution to solve practical problems; LO3 – Calculate Joint Densities, Order Statistics and Moment Generating Functions of two or more discrete and continuous random variables; LO4 – Use fundamental theory to do a theoretical review.
