Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students are expected to be able to: explain the principles of copywriting; conduct industry, product and target market research; develop an advertising strategy and plan; write advertisement for selected media to execute the strategy and plan; create layout of selected media; perform copyediting and present the whole advertisement concept and execution.
Topics
This course will focus on the creative side of advertising. Student will learn how to write ads and tagline creatively for a product. As media expands and become more accessible to the audience, student will learn to write advertising messages for print, broadcast, internet and viral as well as design layouts appropriately and also plan and prepare storyboard for broadcast.
