DIGITAL BUSINESS OPERATIONS AND SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT (4 SCU)

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, students are expected to be able to:  Identify basic concept of contemporary operations and supply chain management as well as future trends; Identify digital operations and their role in modern business environments to achieve operation excellences; Summarize the components of a digital supply chain, and analyze the impact of digital technologies on supply chain processes including traceability system, data privacy and cybersecurity.

Topics

This course learn to manage business operation and supply chain in digitalization era. From operation section, student will study about fundamental of operation and systems-based approach to show how operational excellence can be pursued, achieved, and sustained. The next session, student will study about digital supply chain. They will learn to examines and analyzes in depth the impact of digitalization on the design, management, and control of contemporary and future supply chains.
