Learning Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, students are expected to be able to: identify production management problems and issues; analyse alternative solutions for the manufacturing within a production process of businesses in multidiscipline environment; evaluate various production and manufacturing concepts and tools to propose innovative solutions; develop strategical and tactical recommendations for a smart manufacturing; and propose implementations of manufacturing processes of businesses based on ethical analysis both in the local and international contexts.
Topics:
The course provides students with knowledge and skills to manage production planning, design, and implementation. As such it explores the processes of production planning, stock planning, advanced manufacturing systems, and the financial impact of manufacturing and production. It focuses on manufacturing process management through digital process that allows intelligent, flexible, automated, and integrated production planning and process which enables synchronization across the entire value chain.
