MANAGING ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGE (2 SCU)
Learning Outcomes :
Upon successful completion of this course, students are expected to be able to explain and analyze the need for change in an organization; choose effective intervention and communication strategies for effective change management at different stages in a change process; evaluate the process and effect of changes in organization; and explain and analyze the different approaches to change and different stages of change.
Topics :
This course emphasizes the importance of change and why it is needed. It deals also with how planned change to organizations can bring forward organizational improvement and effectiveness, by providing organization-wide change strategies through various approaches and their integration. The course will also provide students and managers with tools to make growth-oriented business decisions in order to response to changing business environment.
