ADVANCED STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT (3 Credits)
Learning Outcomes:
On successful completion of this course, students will be able to: Equip the students with academic substance on the development of theories and practices of corporate strategy and other organizational strategies, such as the private sector, so as to strategize with world class quality; Compare the evolution and the development of strategic management theories from the classical theories to the current state of the art; Understand how to critically evaluate strategy research articles, take lessons learned from them, and suggest significant improvement or further research direction; Explore interactively theoretical and research issues in the development of the discipline of strategic management, lay out foundation for doctoral research, profession in the corporate world, and teaching career in the graduate schools.
