INTRODUCTION TO PSYCHOLOGY (3 SCU)
Learning Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, students are expected to be able to : Explain basic psychology assumptions and concepts such as: perception, cognition, attention, emotion, personality, behavior, etc; Explain basic psychology methods; Write short psychological profiles; Explain basic social psychology assumptions; Evaluate the development of human minds, feelings, and action in different specific social contexts; Explain a basic understanding of psychoanalysis.
Topics:
The course introduces students to psychology and social psychology, especially in explaining the development of human mind and action in different aspects in individual and social context.
