Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course, the students will be able to: Students will be able to explain the types of materials used for building structural elements; Students will be able to identify the elements of building using specific material; Students will be able to select the type, quality, and size of materials to be used in building structural elements; Students will be able to produce structural design of the building elements that use a particular material; Students will be able to show the relationship between the utility with up to date materials technology; Students will be able to design building elements structure by combining the integration of mechanical engineering and material technology, in order to apply to wood, steel and concrete structures.
