RESEARCH ANALYSIS AND PUBLICATION (2 SCU)
Learning Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, students are expected to be able to: apply critical thinking in research within organizational settings; address and reflect on a range of perspectives; execute skills in data collection techniques and analysis methods; propose suggestions for identified issues or problems for future research and/or managerial implications; and communicate research in an academic style.
Topics:
The course focuses on preparing and analyzing research for publication. Students begin with the development of a research report and gain hands-on experience in qualitative and quantitative data analysis. Emphasis is placed on applying appropriate methods to interpret data accurately. The course also includes supervisory overviews on key components of the research process, including the introduction, literature review, and research methods, as well as research results, discussions, and conclusions. Through these sessions, students refine their research projects and prepare them for academic dissemination and potential publication.
