Introduction to Security Studies

Learning Outcome

By the end of this course, students shall understand the introduction to security studies, a key aspect of international relations. Students will be familiarised with theoretical trends and developments in the field which are beneficial in understanding major security problems that dominate world affairs. Key concepts in security studies, including security dilemma, national security to name a few, will also be discussed in this course.
